Sometimes the most meaningful careers begin not with a plan, but with a willingness to work hard and pivot if needed.
I moved to Florida in my senior year of high school to be closer to my older sister to be more involved in my 3-year-old niece’s life, and to meet my newborn nephew. I held three jobs during my senior year and worked nearly 85-hour weeks. I was proud of my resilience and my ability to push through challenges. That work ethic followed me everywhere. One of my first jobs was at a family-owned pizzeria. My bosses weren’t particularly kind, but the experience taught me grit and perseverance. Watching them run and grow their business—from New York all the way to Florida—sparked something in me. That’s when I caught the entrepreneurial bug.
While living in Florida and contemplating college, real estate eventually found me. At the time, I was working for Disney while taking classes. It was exciting to be part of such an iconic company, and around family, as my sister is a veteran and brother-in-law is still active in the military. It was great to spend time with my niece and nephew while they were growing up – boating, going to Disney, camping and enjoying the beach. I realized I needed something more flexible and sustainable, as the constant commute to the parks simply wasn’t sustainable. That realization changed the course of my life. I connected with a top REALTOR®, who took me on as his assistant. As my mentor, he guided me, encouraged me, and helped me take the next meaningful steps forward.
From the very beginning, I loved real estate. It felt like the perfect fit—a career where my work ethic mattered, my time could be managed intentionally, and my efforts directly impacted others. As my passion for real estate grew, my interest in college faded. I knew I had found my path. Real estate required hard work, which was a perfect fit for me since hard work has always run through my veins.
I got my real estate license in 2014 and slowly transitioned into becoming a full-time agent while still assisting my mentor and training my replacement. A few years later, I partnered with another top agent, and together we reached $17 million in sales volume. Two years after that, I stepped out on my own as a solo agent. Since then, I’ve focused on consistently growing my business and mentoring new agents, something I care deeply about because I remember how important guidance was early in my career.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me at the gym, out on a boat, or enjoying time at the beach. I also value quiet downtime with my cat, Benji, and my dog, Delilah.
I’m equally passionate about giving back and proudly volunteer through my brokerage with organizations such as the local food bank, Toys for Tots, and the American Cancer Society in support of breast cancer awareness.
Looking back, real estate gave me more than a career—it gave me purpose, flexibility, and a life I’m proud of building every day.
After 13 years in the real estate industry, my clients can expect a high level of communication, expertise, and care throughout the entire process. I stay accessible by answering my phone, returning calls within 24 hours—often within the hour—and providing weekly or biweekly updates through each client’s preferred method of communication. Being present and responsive is a priority, and I take the time to answer every question with clarity and intention.
I continually update my knowledge of contracts, documentation, and real estate laws to provide relevant, informed guidance. When I don’t have an immediate answer, I make it a point to find one. I establish clear timelines and outline each step in advance so clients always know what to expect. As a thoughtful listener and proactive problem solver, I guide clients confidently through challenges. My primary focus is residential real estate, with additional experience in vacant land, commercial properties, foreclosures, short sales, and investment properties.
If you’re looking for a REALTOR® who communicates clearly and stays proactive, I’d love to help you achieve your real estate goals.
Sincerely,

Kaylyn Howard
